Thankfully hood pins can keep it secure and look good doing it. Hood pins have long been an icon of muscle cars, but easily installing hood pins on your ride can be a bit tricky. And while this is an early Nova, the process would be the same for any car with a core support.

nope not necessary at all especially on a stock hood with two working latches. they look cool though. I recommend the stick on appearance pins if you don’t want to drill holes into a perfectly good hood.
