Are reservations required for Oceans of Fun?
You do not need a reservation to visit Worlds of Fun. Because we are operating with a limited capacity, this has been put in place to ensure our Season Passholders have fair access to reservations and visits to the waterpark.
Will Oceans of Fun Open this year?
Worlds of Fun announced Wednesday it will open to the general public for the 2021 season on May 22. The amusement park also said Oceans of Fun waterpark will open the following weekend on May 29. Because of COVID-19, Worlds of Fun’s last day of operation for the 2020 season was Sept. 7 and it has been closed since.

What can you take into Oceans of Fun?
Guests may bring unopened bottles of water into the park. However, for everyone’s safety, guests are not permitted to bring coolers, food, or other drinks into either park. Shaded picnic areas are available between parking lots D and F at Worlds of Fun and just outside the admissions gate at Oceans of Fun.

How much is oceans of fun in Kansas City?
Oceans of mass dissapointment. Maybe because I’m comparing it to Schlitterbahn, which didn’t open this year (sad face). Decided to give this park a go, since we had never been anyhow. Got a lucky price (expires today!) Of 39.99 a person, plus 17 bucks for parking (ahem, Schlitterbahn had free parking) and that was online price.

If you don’t have a meal plan it can get extremely expensive because everything is sold a la carte. The meal plan allows you to eat twice a day in 4 hour intervals. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy some water and sun. They have lots to do for all ages and it’s a combined park with Worlds of Fun.
