Does it cost to go to the ovens?
You need to pay an admission fee on arrival. There is a restaurant and washrooms nearby! An easy walk along coast. There is an entry fee to get into The Ovens park but we think it was worth it.

Trails include a dramatic 1.5 km roundtrip, cliff-top trail leading to a series of sea caves. Self-guided walks, kayaking and gold panning. Picnic areas, general store, restaurant and takeout (mid-June to mid-Sept), live music daily from 5 til dusk. Admission to the park is charged.
Is the ovens pet friendly?
Pets are welcome in several camping cabins and in the campground, deposit and small fee required. There is a small fee for extra persons staying in cabins. Enjoy your stay, however please note: Be kind to our property, you will be charged for stolen items and any damage to the Ovens Park.

After parking your car at the public parking lot, you begin your hike along Hirtles Beach until you come to the Southwest end after about 1.5 kms. You will then see an interpretive sign at the edge of the woods. Here is where the trail begins to take you out to Gaff Point.

Just down a rough road in the community of Latties Brook lies a small set of white gypsum cliffs along the Five Mile River. Getting to the cave is actually very easy, crossing the river at the right spot lands us on a footpath that leads around the end of the cliffs and the mouth of the cave.
